A Different Kind of Founders Hang
This isn't a summit. Not a retreat. Not a bootcamp.
It will be… a founders hang.
If you expect a luxury hotel and a private chef… this is not it.
The only curated part about this hang is the people. You can only join the hang by personal invitation from an invitee.
Most bedrooms are shared (genders divided, if you have a preference we may be able to organise a private sleeping spot)
But they're shared by FEATURE. Have amazing midnight conversations. Meet new founders doing random shit.
It's very NOT planned out, so founders can just do what they fucking want with the right people.

The House
The house represents the pinnacle of Scandinavian architecture with premium IKEA furniture, IKEA kitchen utensils, and IKEA textiles.
If you didn't get the joke, fuck me. It's just an ordinary Swedish house.
Nothing spectacular, but comfortable with a good kitchen and dining space for 14 people. Most bedrooms are shared (genders divided), creating opportunities for authentic connections and spontaneous brainstorming.
(Nothing breaks the ice like sleeping butt-to-butt with another founder)

Located in Bromma, just 15 minutes from Stockholm centrum, we're in a walkable close-to-nature neighborhood yet enjoy easy city access.
*Should excessive demand arise, we may expand capacity from 14 founders to 25-28 by renting another house.

What will you make happen?
You can do anything you want.
As for amenities, Stockholm city is only 15 minutes away.
- Opportunities to Cowork exist but isn't required (rec: WeWork Stockholm)
- There's a beach volleyball field 15 minutes from the house
- There's a dope gym in the middle of Stockholm where you can hang out (rec: Sturebadet, $400 for a week, not included in Founder's Hang fee)
Some loosely planned ideas are sports activities such as beach volleyball and going out in the Stockholm archipelago.
Just having fun and could be stuff like sightseeing in Stockholm, but that's not really the focus. The whole benefit of the event is that it's very not planned out, so that founders can just do what they fucking want to do with the right people.
The only thing that is in the itinerary is a party on Saturday August 2nd. With Swedish chicas and chicos.
How to make the most out of your week
We recommend you work during your stay.

But here's a friendly tip:
Eliminate as many meetings as possible. You don't want to be tied to your chair when everyone else heads out for something fun.
Here's a template you can send to your team and clients:
"From July 29 to August 4th I will be attending a very important high-level business mastermind and not taking meetings by default. [your name]"
Terms & Conditions
This is not a for-profit event. But the house and the party venue doesn't rent itself.
Every attendee contributes $1,000 to cover their share of expenses for the house, rooftop event, and other amenities. This ensures commitment and creates a fair environment for everyone.
You'll leave with a tan (or not, since its Sweden), a brain full of ideas, and hopefully at least one new friend you'll likely end up building something with (alternatively, 13 new enemies).
Q&A
What if I need to cancel?
Life happens. But since we're splitting costs and need to plan, let us know ASAP.
We'll try to find someone from the waitlist, but can't guarantee a refund if we can't fill your spot.
This is because of the upfront costs incurred by us organizers.
Can I bring my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner?
The house if specifically for founders only. No plus-ones, sorry. The dynamic changes when it's not all builders. You CAN bring your plus-one to Stockholm or the party on August 2nd though. Just can't live in the house.
What if I don't know anyone?
Perfect.
That's literally the point. Many people won't know each other beforehand.
The shared rooms and communal setup makes it impossible to stay strangers for long.
Is there WiFi? Can I actually work?
Yes, strong WiFi.
Kitchen table works as a desk.
Everyone will be working at least a bit every day.
Some people will be working, some won't. Do whatever feels right.
What about food?
There's a kitchen. We'll probably do group grocery runs and cook together sometimes. Stockholm has good food delivery too. Figure it out as we go.
How do I get selected?
We're looking for interesting founders doing cool stuff. Not necessarily unicorn CEOs - could be bootstrapped, indie hackers, agency owners, whatever. Just people who'd be fun to live with for a week.
What's the age thing about?
21-33 keeps the vibe consistent. Not trying to be ageist, just want people in similar life phases. If you're older than 33, you may be considered if you're either a) childless and don't have BDE (big dad energy) or b) can find a house member vouching for your adolescent energy
What if I hate my roommate?
You won't lol
Can I leave early or arrive late?
Ideally you're there the whole time since it's a week-long thing, but we get it if you can't do the full week. Just let us know.
Is there AC/heating?
It's Sweden in summer. So basically it's winter. You'll be fine temperature-wise.
What if the weather sucks?
Swedish summer is usually pretty good, but if it rains we'll figure out indoor stuff (board games or Minecraft?). Stockholm has plenty to do.
Do I need to bring anything specific?
Just normal stuff you'd pack for a week. Maybe bring something to share - a local snack, a book, whatever.
What's the deal with no alcohol in the house?
We're renting someone's place and want to keep it chill. Plenty of bars in Stockholm if you want to drink.
How do I pay the $1,000?
We'll send payment details once you're accepted. Probably Stripe or bank transfer.
What if this sounds terrible to me?
